Sowerby Primary Academy is a welcoming and happy school where we strive to ‘Grow Courageous Learners’. As part of Elevate Multi Academy Trust, we are seeking to employ a General Teaching Assistant, who will be required to work in KS1 to join our committed team. In addition, the ideal candidates would have Level 3 qualifications that would enable them to undertake PPA and short-term class cover for the teacher.
We are looking for a candidate who is:
- passionate about education and inspiring children
- able to take pride in making a difference to young people's wellbeing
- Demonstrate a patient approach and the ability to inspire and motivate
- Experienced, using positive behaviour tools in a work capacity.
- Have a great sense of humour and resilience and enjoy working as part of a team.
