Children in Year 6 proudly showed off their sewing skills this week ! The fabric for the cubes was chosen and cut out by the children and then laid out in a net. After pinning the components together, the children used electric sewing machines to construct the 3D shape. After inserting the stuffing, the children hand sewed the last edge.
Some of the children decorated the cube with ribbon before stitching it together while others inserted rice as well as stuffing to make a door stop. Well done to all the children.
